My time here in DC has been pretty short. When I head to Texas it will be a total of five months. That's not a long time! Since I knew I wouldn't be here long I didn't try to find too much work, but I had the amazing privilege of photographing this beautiful family last month. Jenny is another photographer in the area and has one lovely family, don't you agree?
As Seen on Style Me Pretty
Last spring I sat down with my friend Chandler and started dumping all these ideas of what I wanted to do with my business, through all of that this shoot was born. I love storytelling and was struggling with styled shoots lacking in that. So we found a real couple, photographed them in their home and created a shoot around their lives. Blending lifestyle and wedding through this Anniversary and Vow Renewal session.
Erica and I technically have known each other since we were little. Our dad's have been best friends since kindergarten, so when Erica got engaged they started planning photography matchmaker.
It was a seriously gorgeous day in Oregon with not a cloud in the sky. Mt. Hood was off in the distance, rows of flowers and a couple crazy in love. All things I love a lot.
One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is capturing emotions. It's a beautiful thing to be able to capture real, authentic moments throughout the day and Amanda and Virgil's wedding was full of them. Their wedding set at Bowing Oaks Plantation, was full of beautiful sunshine, happy tears and lots of laughter. One stunning couple, a beautiful wedding dress and a beautiful day had me in my happy place all day.
A beautiful sunny day in Savannah made the perfect setting for this stunning wedding. Michael and Melinda were such a beautiful couple, they spent the day laughing, exchanging the sweetest glances and dancing the night away. It was quite the party!
