Where are you based? We live in Portland, OR and travel through out the northwest to capture beautiful weddings!
Why do you shoot film? In a digital age I get this question a lot and it really comes down to the quality of film. There is something that film can do that no amount of post process in digital can accomplish. Color tones, texture and the richness film embodies is incredible. I shoot both film and digital because just like I think there are perfect times for film, I think there is perfect times for digital as well.
Will you travel for weddings? Yes! Traveling is one of those things that makes my heart go wild. I've had the honor to travel all over for weddings so contact me about travel rates to your neck of the woods.
What do you shoot with? I shoot both Film and Digital. My Film gear includes a Contax 645 and a Canon 1V and Digital includes a Canon 5D Mark III, Mark II and a variety of lenses.
How do I pay you? Do you have a payment plan? Cash, Check, or via the online payment option. There is a 50% non-refundable retainer to hold your date. You can pay the remaining balance in whatever increments you’d like as long as it is all paid off 30 days before the wedding.
How many photos will I get from the shoot/wedding? Generally, you will receive between 50 and 75 photos for every hour.
Will we get featured in a magazine or blog? If I believe your weddings is fit for a specific publication, I may submit it but it is no guarantee. If this is something you're hoping for please let me know and I may be able to help you brainstorm unique details to you guys.
Do you use a second shooter? In my basic package a second shooter is an add-on, but I feel completely comfortable shooting alone, especially for smaller weddings and elopements. My top two packages do include second shooters. We can always discuss the details of your day and decide if a second shooter would be beneficial.
